Green Light Escape Room, LLC, Escape room in downtown Wilmington, United States.
Green Light Escape Room is a puzzle entertainment venue in downtown Wilmington with six distinct themed rooms spread across a large space, including scenarios involving aliens, breweries, and laboratories. Visitors work together to find clues and solve riddles in each setting before time runs out.
The venue opened in Wilmington during the rise of escape room entertainment, which became popular across North America in the 2010s. The concept evolved from online puzzle games that originated in Asia and Europe before spreading to brick-and-mortar locations.
Players from all backgrounds gather in three separate lobbies to test their problem-solving abilities through physical and mental challenges within time constraints.
The facility operates daily with multiple session times available throughout the day and extended hours on weekends. Groups should book in advance to secure a specific time slot and allow extra time for arrival and instructions before beginning.
The Jurassic Labs room focuses on DNA experiments and prehistoric research, while the Brewery Heist scenario presents a modern-day setting involving prohibited activities. These two rooms show how the design mixes vastly different time periods and themes to appeal to various types of players.
