State Game Lands Number 329, State game lands in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania

State Game Lands Number 329 is a forested area in Schuylkill County covering approximately 1,146 acres with multiple wildlife habitats. The Little Catawissa Creek flows through the property, adding natural features that shape the landscape of woods and fields.

These grounds were established after Pennsylvania enacted game protection laws in 1897 aimed at rebuilding wildlife populations that had been depleted. The early conservation efforts created the foundation for today's state forest management system.

The property attracts hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who come during hunting seasons to pursue game in the forested landscape. This place holds deep meaning for local hunting traditions, where families have passed down their skills and knowledge across generations.

Access to the grounds is available from Aristes Road or Ringtown Road, where you will find designated parking areas. A network of trails connects through the forest and links to nearby Weiser State Forest for extended exploration.

The property spans three townships and stretches across both Columbia and Schuylkill County, crossing jurisdictional lines. This multi-county layout means the terrain varies from flat sections to steep hillsides within the same managed area.
