Eivere Manor, Manor house in Järva County, Estonia
Eivere Manor is a manor house in Järva County with a main building constructed in 1912. The structure combines neo-Gothic elements with Art Nouveau features characteristic of that era.
The location was first documented in 1552 and long belonged to the von Stackelberg family. After World War I, the estate underwent significant changes due to Estonian land reforms.
The manor reflects the influence of Baltic German aristocracy on Estonian architecture and design. Walking through it reveals how European noble families shaped the appearance and use of rural estates during this period.
The estate is located in the Anna parish area and is accessible for visitors to examine the early 20th-century architecture. The grounds offer ample space to explore and are relatively easy to reach.
Elmar Muuk, a renowned Estonian linguist, was born there and later made significant contributions to the development of the Estonian language. His origins at this estate connect it to an important chapter in Estonian cultural history.
