These lands maintain strong hunting traditions and offer space for wildlife watching, hiking, and nature education throughout the year. Visitors experience how outdoor recreation is woven into the region's daily life.

Visitors can explore this land using marked trails and designated parking areas throughout the property. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are helpful for navigating the varied terrain and seasonal conditions.

Maunatome Mountain borders the northwest section and creates different ecological zones supporting varied plant and animal species. These elevation changes mean distinct habitats exist close together across the property.
