Vacchiano Farm, Winery in Washington Township, New Jersey, United States
Vacchiano Farm is a winery on extensive agricultural land in Washington Township. About 11 acres are devoted to growing American hybrid wine grapes for production.
The property started in 1983 as a traditional produce and livestock farm. The shift to wine production began in 2004 when the first vineyards were planted.
The farm preserves Italian farming traditions that you can see in how the crops are grown and tended. The wines reflect the character of the Warren Hills region where they are produced.
The property has no permanent tasting room on-site, but wines and farm products are sold at farmers markets throughout New Jersey. Plan to visit one of these markets if you want to sample and purchase directly.
Beyond wine, the operation produces homemade breads, cheeses, and specialty sauces using traditional recipes. These handcrafted items reflect the farm's commitment to full agricultural production.
