Sylvin Farms Winery, Winery in Galloway Township, New Jersey, United States

Sylvin Farms Winery is a producer in Galloway Township that cultivates several acres of vineyard land and creates approximately 1,000 cases of wine annually. The operation involves more than 20 grape varieties grown and fermented at the site.

The vineyard took root in the late 1970s when a vision emerged to craft European-style wines in the region. Public access to the operation began a few years later, establishing it as a local producer.

The winery carries the name of its founding family and operates as a multigenerational business where visitors can experience the rustic setting of a house that has served as both home and production space since its early years. The awards displayed throughout reflect the commitment to winemaking craftsmanship evident in the operation.

Visitors can schedule guided tastings where staff explain the winemaking process and the varieties produced. It's wise to call ahead and arrange a time so the operation can dedicate attention to your visit.

The operation is one of the few places in America where Corvina grapes are grown and fermented, a variety typically associated with Italian red wines. This specialization makes it a rare example among American producers.
