Osaka Animal Plants Ocean College, Professional training college in Osaka, Japan

Osaka Animal Plants Ocean College is a professional training college in Osaka, Japan, offering courses in animal care, plant studies, and marine biology. The campus has laboratories, research equipment, and recreated natural habitats where students work directly with living species.

The college was founded in January 1988 with a focus on vocational training in animal husbandry, botany, and marine biology. Over the following decades, it expanded its programs to incorporate newer scientific methods while keeping a practical teaching approach.

The college takes its name from the three fields it covers: animals, plants, and ocean life. On campus, students spend much of their day working directly with living organisms, which gives the place a noticeably hands-on feel.

The campus is located in Osaka and is reachable by public transport. Anyone wanting to visit should contact the college in advance, as it is an active educational institution and public access is limited.

The college brings together three very different fields under one roof, which is uncommon in Japan. Students studying marine life and those focusing on plants sometimes share projects related to coastal ecosystems, working side by side on the same campus.
